Sponsor a Seed

Picture

The Red and Green School will be planting three community gardens this year—one that honors Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, one that honors Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, and a simple pollinator garden—across from
Minot State University. You can help by sponsoring a seed for a minimum donation of $1, and we have a variety of heirloom seeds to choose from, including:

Arikara Watermelon, Mandan Squash. Arikara Sunflower, Arikara Yellow Bean, Mandan Bride Corn, Sunflower, Ojibwe Goose Berries, Ojibwe Raspberries, Ojibwe Wild Strawberries, Tobacco (for ceremonial use), and Pollinator seeds.

For those that sponsor a seed, you are welcome to plant, care for, and harvest your seed, but we can also do that on your behalf. Please email, call, or message Dan Conn (701-858-3267)if you would like to adopt a seed and/or if you have any questions. You can also use our PayPal account. Miigwech!
