Discussion

Ask students about how their wolf pack lives together (sharing space and resources; taking care of one another). Guiding questions include:
  • Who is in your pack? (examples could include family, friend circle, pets, etc.)
  • How do you help your pack?
  • How does your pack help you?
  • What do people in your pack share?
Art/Prewriting
Students will share in small groups or to their partner (prewriting activity), and once each student has shared in the group, encourage students to share with the class (regroup and refocus on celebrating their masks). Once each student in the class has shared, you can discuss how the class also has to live together and encourage students to think about how they can help their pack at home and at school.
